Rustam Zaichenko studied choral conducting at the Chelyabinsk State Institute of Music (now the Tchaikovsky South Ural State Institute of Arts, Chelyabinsk)
From the first year of study, he was a leading soloist of the male vocal ensemble of the Institute, performing at concert and competitions. From 2006 to 2011, he successfully directed the male ensemble of the Sozvuchie (Consonance) Chapel in Chelyabinsk. Since 2009, Rustam has played one of the leading roles in musical Kirovka with music by Vladimir Osherov and lyrics by Konstantin Rubinsky. In October 2011, he joined the Chelyabinsk Philharmonia as a soloist.
Today, Rustam is closely involved into the artistic life of the Chelyabinsk Philharmonia. He has performed the Chelyabinsk Symphonic Orchestra “Classica”, the Chelyabinsk Philharmonia Wind Orchestra, and the instrumental ensemble of with the Folk Dance Ensemble "Ural". Rustam has made brilliant duets with soloists Natalia Voronkina and Ekaterina Bersenyova and appeared in chamber music parties Around the White Grand Piano. Rustam is known for his genuine musicianship and artistic presence on stage.
