Tatiana Zaitseva began her music studies with piano at the age of six but later, having won admission to the Musical College of the Tchaikovsky South Ural State Institute of Arts in Chelyabinsk, she realized she wanted to play saxophone that completely caught her imagination.
In 1995, Tatiana entered the Urals Mussorgsky State Conservatoire, Yekaterinburg, and joined the class of the famous musician Igor Parashchuk. From 2001 to 2002, she took the postgraduate course at the Conservatoire. In 2007, Tatiana won the prize at the International Competition “Music without Borders” (Lithuania) in duet with pianist Tatiana Savelyeva. She participated in masterclasses with Jean-Denis Michat, a renowned sax player and professor of Conservatoire National de Région de Lyon (France), in 2007 and Patrick Possi (USA) in 2008.
Since 2003, Tatiana has taught the saxophone class the Tchaikovsky South Ural State Institute of Arts, Chelyabinsk. She is a sought-after saxophonist in Chelyabinsk and collaborates with ensembles and orchestras of the Chelyabinsk Philharmonia as a soloist.
